Lopolopo Inc was conceived in 2018 as a platform for featuring the latest available technology products and celebrating technical achievements made by women and for women. In 2020, the founder Prenthis Aguilar, was featured in a book written by students about women in STEM at Cornell University. In a few weeks, she was asked to speak on several corporate and conference panels about her STEM career, work-life balance and entrepreneurship. Prenthis decided to incorporate Lopolopo as a private foundation in order to effectively manage her exciting engineering career and philanthropic passions.
In 2021, Lopolopo officially received 501c(3) status as a private foundation. Our focus has become one of education and the empowerment of mature women. Lopolopo has provided grants to various STEM and women-entrepreneur focused organizations and individuals over the last several years.
